Mochi secures one seat from the live GenLayer ladder, then raffles it through 0.01 ETH tickets. When one lotto fills, the next seat begins. Right now, join Mochi Season Zero: spin daily, earn XP and vouchers, and invite friends — all completely free.
No days, no auction — MochiNodes turns each seat on the live GenLayer ladder into its own lotto, one at a time.
Mochi reads the live GenLayer round and price step, then buys or reserves the seat onchain — the prize already exists, at a fixed price, before any ticket goes on sale.
Once the seat is secured, Mochi opens a lotto for that exact seat — no bidding, just a straightforward ticket at a flat 0.01 ETH.
The moment the last ticket for that seat sells, the contract stops accepting purchases and the final ticket count is locked in.
MochiNodes requests verifiable randomness onchain, calculates the winning ticket, and publishes a proof page anyone can check.
The winner receives a Mochi WinnerNFT and the seat's rights, then chooses to run the node, hand it to an operator, or sell the rights back through the published buyback.
As soon as one lotto settles, Mochi goes back to the ladder to secure the next seat, and the loop begins again.
Every number a lotto shows — ticket cap, odds, ratio — comes from the same formula, applied to a seat MochiNodes already owns.
MochiNodes never opens a lotto on a seat it doesn't already control. Before a single ticket goes on sale, Mochi reads the live round, price step, remaining seats and time left on the GenLayer ladder, sends the purchase or reservation for that exact seat, and waits for onchain confirmation. Only then does it register the round, price, seat ID and transaction hash, calculate the ticket cap, and create the lotto with parameters that can no longer change.
Acquiring the seat first is what avoids that failure: the prize already exists, the price is fixed, the ticket cap doesn't move, the odds don't move, and anyone can verify the acquisition transaction before buying a ticket.
Every lotto's ticket cap N comes from the seat's acquisition cost C, the round's target funding ratio r, and the fixed ticket price of 0.01 ETH:
Worked example: an R5 seat acquired at 1.10 ETH with R5's 75 % target ratio needs 147 tickets. That raises 1.47 ETH — a 74.83 % effective ratio, slightly under target because the ticket count rounds up to a whole number.
MochiNodes runs lottos on R5, R6 and the conditional R7, each with its own target ratio. A sample of published price steps within each round's bracket:
| Seat cost | Cap | Raised | Margin | Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.00 ETH | 134 | 1.34 ETH | 0.34 ETH | 74.63 % |
| 1.10 ETH | 147 | 1.47 ETH | 0.37 ETH | 74.83 % |
| 1.20 ETH | 160 | 1.60 ETH | 0.40 ETH | 75.00 % |
| Seat cost | Cap | Raised | Margin | Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.25 ETH | 193 | 1.93 ETH | 0.68 ETH | 64.77 % |
| 1.35 ETH | 208 | 2.08 ETH | 0.73 ETH | 64.90 % |
| 1.45 ETH | 224 | 2.24 ETH | 0.79 ETH | 64.73 % |
| Seat cost | Cap | Raised | Margin | Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.50 ETH | 273 | 2.73 ETH | 1.23 ETH | 54.95 % |
| 1.65 ETH | 300 | 3.00 ETH | 1.35 ETH | 55.00 % |
| 1.75 ETH | 319 | 3.19 ETH | 1.44 ETH | 54.86 % |
Your chance of winning is always your tickets divided by the ticket cap N. For an R5 seat acquired at 1.10 ETH (N = 147):
| Tickets | 1 | 5 | 10 | 25 | 50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chance | 0.68 % | 3.40 % | 6.80 % | 17.01 % | 34.01 % |
The interface recalculates your exact probability the moment you pick a ticket pack.
Because the seat is secured before a lotto ever opens, the prize already exists — even if GenLayer's six-day window ends first. Ticket sales stop immediately at the deadline, the prize is never changed and no extension is granted. The draw still runs among every valid ticket already sold, and if the raised total falls short of the round's funding target, MochiNodes absorbs the difference. The winner still receives the seat.
An NFT recording the lotto ID, round, seat and winning ticket — the draw data it holds is permanent.
The full economic and operational rights to the acquired seat, transferred to the winning wallet.
A published window to claim the node or designate a permitted operator to run it on the winner's behalf.
The option to sell the seat back to MochiNodes at its published acquisition cost, so operating a node is never mandatory.
Lotto winners are chosen with verifiable onchain randomness — the ticket ledger is fixed before randomness is ever requested, and there are no admin reruns. Season Zero's daily roulette uses a different but equally verifiable mechanism: a committed daily seed, published and checkable at api.mochinodes.seselo.site/roulette/seed.

N = ceil(C / (r × 0.01 ETH)), where C is the seat's acquisition cost and r is the round's target funding ratio. It's fixed the moment a lotto opens and never changes afterward.Join Season Zero today — daily spins, XP, streaks and referrals are live now.
